Yes—KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olatunji, is now a part-owner of Dagenham & Redbridge. The club announced on March 3, 2026, that he had joined as a shareholder and strategic partner; BBC Sport described his holding as a minority stake. He did not buy the club outright.
What KSI’s ownership role means
“Owner” is accurate in the sense that KSI holds shares in the club, but it should not be read as sole ownership or control. The club called him a shareholder and strategic partner, and BBC Sport reported that his stake is a minority one. The sources do not state the size of his shareholding.

The club’s March 3 announcement presented his involvement as a new partnership. KSI said: “I’m so excited to start this journey. It’s gonna be a rollercoaster for sure but I hope to bring Dagenham and Redbridge back to the glory days. And once we reach that point, I want to go even further. Reaching the Premier League would be a dream. And I believe it is 100% doable. It will take a long time, so to the Daggers fans, please be patient. I want you to know that I am fully committed to making sure Dagenham and Redbridge is a team that everyone will know worldwide, and will be an exciting team to watch and support.”
That Premier League reference is KSI’s stated dream and ambition, not a confirmed club target, forecast or guarantee.

How the ownership announcements unfolded
KSI’s announcement followed a separate change in the club’s shareholding. On February 16, Dagenham & Redbridge said that shares previously held by Club Underdog, Inc. had been acquired by Happy Fan Group, LLC, led by John Grabowski. The club said the National League had approved the takeover, necessary FA approvals had been granted and the paperwork was complete.
On March 3, the club announced KSI as a shareholder and strategic partner. These were distinct developments: the earlier announcement concerned Happy Fan Group’s acquisition of Club Underdog’s shares, while KSI joined later with a minority stake. The club’s statement on the earlier change is available in its February 16 announcement.

Where Dagenham & Redbridge play now
In the 2026/27 season, Dagenham & Redbridge competes in Enterprise National League South. That is the current-season context for KSI’s arrival; descriptions of the club’s level based on an earlier season may be out of date. The club identified the division in its 2026/27 fixture announcement. Its live fixtures and results page is the place to check for current match details, which change through the season.
