That date has passed. The HUNTR/X “What It Sounds Like” three-pack is listed by Mattel at $150, and its product page, checked in 2026, marks it sold out.
What Netflix and Mattel announced
Netflix announced its partnership with Mattel on October 21, 2025. The announcement described a planned KPop Demon Hunters merchandise range covering dolls, action figures, accessories, collectibles, playsets and co-branded products, with worldwide distribution beginning in 2026. Mattel Creations was to introduce the HUNTR/X three-pack first, grouping the characters Rumi, Mira and Zoey as the HUNTR/X trio.
Netflix also said Mattel and Hasbro products would begin reaching retail in spring 2026 and continue through the 2026 holiday season and beyond. Those were plans made in 2025, not guarantees of stock at any particular store.
Mattel’s chief global brand officer, Roberto Stanichi, framed the deal as a deeper partnership with Netflix around the film’s chart-topping success. Hasbro’s president of toy, licensing and entertainment, Tim Kilpin, described the franchise as a pop culture phenomenon with global resonance.

The pre-sale date: November 12, 2025
The HUNTR/X three-pack was offered first as a pre-sale on Mattel Creations, with a start date of November 12, 2025. Orders were to ship in 2026. If you are searching for the pre-sale date today, that is the answer, and it is no longer an upcoming event.
Two other dates from the 2025 announcement are often confused with it. Hasbro’s MONOPOLY Deal: KPop Demon Hunters game opened for preorder at Amazon, Target and Walmart on October 21, 2025, with orders shipping January 1, 2026. That retailer list applies to the game. It does not show that Amazon, Target or Walmart sold the HUNTR/X dolls.

Current status of the HUNTR/X three-pack
Mattel’s collection page lists the “What It Sounds Like” three-pack at $150. Its FAQ states that the three-pack is currently sold out and was a Mattel Creations-exclusive design. Because this is a limited product, do not assume that a sold-out listing will return with the same price or assortment. Mattel has not stated a restock plan in the material available for this article.

Mattel’s range also includes individual fashion dolls and other licensed merchandise, so the sold-out three-pack does not mean every item is unavailable. How to answer each version of the question
- “When do the HUNTR/X dolls go on sale?” The Mattel Creations pre-sale was scheduled for November 12, 2025. No later pre-sale date for the three-pack has been announced in the sources reviewed.
- “Where can I buy them?” Start with Mattel Creations, which ran the original pre-sale and lists the three-pack and individual dolls. Retailer stock for the dolls is not established in the sources reviewed, so do not assume a store carries them.
- “Are they sold out?” The three-pack is listed as sold out on Mattel’s page. Individual items on the same range may still be listed, so check each product separately.
Before you buy: a short checklist
- Open Mattel Creations and confirm the price and status of the exact product you want, because listings change.
- For Hasbro NERF swords, confirm the retailer and its stock, since the July 15, 2026 start was a scheduled date across major retailers.
- Compare the item type before buying: a display set such as the three-pack suits collectors, while the NERF blades and swords are role-play toys with foam blades.
- Be cautious of resellers charging above the listed price for a sold-out set. The published retail price is $150.
The short answer for most readers: the HUNTR/X doll presale happened on November 12, 2025, and the three-pack is now sold out on Mattel’s own store. Individual dolls and Hasbro’s role-play items are the practical options to check next.
