How Kith Eatery opened
PerthNow reported on 7 October 2024 that Kith Eatery had opened in a long-vacant Nedlands site previously occupied by Jack Spratt’s deli. The owners are Jess Chisari-Sneeuwjagt and Joel Sneeuwjagt. Before opening Kith, they had sold their share of Some-day Coffee Co in Floreat and completed another season of Ol’ Buoy’s summer pop-up cafe in Cottesloe, according to PerthNow’s opening report.

The couple said their interest in the site went back several years. During the opening period, Chisari-Sneeuwjagt described the plan as a focus on made-to-order sandwiches, specialty coffee and signature drinks, alongside all-day dine-in brunch.

Opening coverage described breakfast and lunch, focaccia, pastries, coffee and a tropical iced matcha. A Broadsheet feature published in October 2024 connected the menu to the owners’ Sicilian and Chinese-Malaysian heritage and recorded these examples:

These are menu examples reported in 2024, not confirmation that the dishes are still available. The Broadsheet preview from July 2024 also discussed planned dishes and local suppliers Teeter Bakery and Path Coffee; that pre-opening information does not establish current menu items or supplier arrangements.
