Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. were linked in reports beginning in September 2023, and a split was reported on April 30, 2024. Neither person publicly confirmed the relationship or the breakup in the coverage reviewed here, and anonymous sources offered conflicting descriptions of how serious things were. The timeline below separates reported sightings from those claims.
What is known about their relationship status?
The public record in the cited coverage is a sequence of shared events and reports based largely on unnamed sources—not a confirmed relationship history. In September 2023, some accounts described Kardashian and Beckham as platonic, while Us Weekly sources characterized them as casually dating. In February 2024, sources again disagreed, this time over whether the connection was getting serious or remained casual. Neither person publicly addressed their status in ELLE’s May 1, 2024 timeline.
Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr.’s timeline
July 2023: They attend the same Fourth of July party
Both attended Michael Rubin’s annual Fourth of July party on July 4. ELLE specifies that they appeared at the same event, not that they arrived or spent time together. A shared guest list alone does not establish a romance. ELLE’s timeline and Glamour’s account cover the sighting.
September 2023: Reports disagree about whether they are dating
On September 19, People was reported as saying the pair were “hanging out.” ELLE also relayed TMZ sources’ description of them as platonic and said they had grown closer through mutual friends. Coverage connected the timing with Beckham’s reported split from Lauren Wood, but that context does not establish when or whether Kardashian and Beckham began dating.

The next day, Us Weekly sources described them as dating casually and said their connection had become flirtatious. That account conflicted with the platonic characterization attributed to TMZ. ELLE reported that neither Kardashian nor Beckham responded to the reports. These competing accounts are why September is best understood as the start of prominent coverage, not a confirmed start date.
November 2023: Kardashian attends Beckham’s birthday party
Kardashian attended Beckham’s 31st birthday party after the CFDA Awards, according to ELLE. Sources give different dates for the party—November 6 in ELLE and November 8 in Harper’s Bazaar—so the month is the reliable level of precision here. Harper’s Bazaar’s timeline also recounts the event.

February 2024: More shared events, conflicting accounts of seriousness
They were both reported at Jay-Z’s pre-Grammys party, arriving separately. ELLE dates it February 1, while Glamour gives February 2; the sources do not align on the exact date.
On February 7, Us Weekly sources described the relationship as “getting serious” and said they were considering next steps, with one source portraying Beckham as more private. Glamour, citing People sources, reported a different picture: a casual connection and no rush by either person to make it serious. Both accounts were anonymous-source reporting, not statements from Kardashian or Beckham.

Being at the same venue and appearing close did not settle their relationship status.
March 10, 2024: They are seen at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party
Both attended the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. Reports described them arriving or leaving together, and footage showed affectionate contact. ELLE noted that they posed separately on the red carpet. This was a prominent public sighting, but it was not a public confirmation from either person. ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar describe the appearance.

April 30, 2024: A split is reported
People and Entertainment Tonight reported on April 30 that the pair had split. ELLE quoted an unnamed People source saying, “It’s over and just fizzled out,” and reported that they remained friends. TMZ said the precise date they ended things was unclear. The April 30 reports therefore establish when the split became public in coverage, not the exact date or reason for the end of the rumored relationship. ELLE’s report, Harper’s Bazaar, and Glamour cover the breakup reporting.
