When and where were the anniversary screenings?
The anniversary event was promoted as Dogma: Resurrected! A 25th Anniversary Celebration, featuring a new 4K remaster and theatrical bonus content. AMC’s U.S. listing gives June 5, 2025, as the event release date; AMC’s event listing describes the presentation. Landmark Cinemas lists June 6, 2025, in Canada and describes the 4K event on its Canadian event page.

Additional local screenings appeared later in 2025, including a Nickelodeon listing for June 11 and an August run at Chicago’s FACETS. Those venue-calendar dates document past local events; they do not establish a current theatrical re-release. The sources cited here do not confirm a new 2026 screening or current ticket inventory.
Was Kevin Smith at every screening?
No. Smith’s appearances were part of a distinct spring 2025 event, Dogma: The Resurrection Tour, rather than a stated feature of every June anniversary screening. AMC’s tour listing names Q&A stops from April 21 through May 23, 2025. It supports those listed appearances, not a claim that Smith attended all later screenings.

What was shown—and how long was it?
The theatrical event was billed as a newly remastered 4K presentation with bonus content. Runtime depends on the listing: an event venue listing gives 130 minutes, while Lionsgate’s home-video product page lists the film at 129 minutes. Those figures describe different listings and should not be treated as a single confirmed runtime for every event presentation.
Dogma is a 1999 Kevin Smith comedy starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as fallen angels. Lionsgate’s product listing rates the film R and gives its runtime as 129 minutes.

What is the at-home option?
The theatrical dates have passed, but Lionsgate Limited lists a Dogma 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray SteelBook with a December 9, 2025 release date. The product page describes a 25th-anniversary booklet, features exclusive to the 4K disc, commentary, deleted scenes, outtakes, and other bonus material. Its format and listed contents are separate from the 2025 theatrical event; stock and retailer availability may vary.
