By the stated criteria, the outfit commits to a clear idea: glossy black, metallic detail, and deliberately theatrical accessories. The chains and fur make it visually busy, but they reinforce that maximalist direction instead of reading as unrelated additions.

Kesha received the Music Icon award in Berlin in a black leather-look outfit. The two reports describe its construction differently, so their accounts should not be collapsed into a single definitive garment description. Us Weekly reports a textured strapless top with a scalloped edge and asymmetrical neckline, paired with a low-waisted skirt with thigh-high slits and a cascading train. GLAMOUR Germany describes a shiny, crinkled black floor-length cut-out dress with a corset-style bodice and high-slit skirt.
The accessories made the outfit particularly distinctive. Us Weekly reports a silver chain purse with a vape as its handle, a change from spiked pumps to pointed-toe heels with an iPhone attachment, and a black purse marked “BITCH.” The details are provocative, but also unusually functional; they give the look a playful edge rather than leaving it as a simple black evening outfit.
GLAMOUR Germany interpreted the shiny black 2024 look as a tribute to Kesha’s 2010 VMAs appearance. That is the publication’s reading of the resemblance, not a stated intention from Kesha or a confirmed designer brief. The shared glossy black palette supports the comparison, while the long silhouette, slits, and train make the later outfit a distinct red-carpet statement.
February 1, 2026, Grammy Awards: a softer contrast
At the 2026 Grammys, Kesha wore a white, feathered, off-the-shoulder gown by Atelier Biser, according to The Associated Press. The report establishes the designer and broad look, but does not provide enough detail to assess the gown’s construction or fit. Its documented contrast with the glossy black outfits is clear: white feathers and an off-the-shoulder neckline instead of black shine and leather-look texture.

What the documented looks say about Kesha’s style
Across these appearances, Kesha’s red-carpet styling is notable for making texture and detail do much of the work. The 2010 minidress pairs shine with chains and fur; the 2024 look revisits glossy black while adding a dramatic skirt and unconventional accessories; the 2026 Grammy gown shifts to white feathers.
