Kesha’s Australian return was announced in October 2024, with two performances scheduled in January 2025: a Sydney headline event, HOUSE OF KESHA, on 23 January, followed by an Australian Open music-program appearance in Melbourne on 25 January. Both events have since taken place; the Sydney promoter now marks its show sold out.
What Kesha announced in October 2024
PerthNow reported the announcement on 10 October 2024: Kesha was set to perform in Australia twice within three days, in Sydney and Melbourne. These were distinct events rather than two dates on the same concert bill: HOUSE OF KESHA was her own headline event, while AO LIVE Presents was part of the Australian Open’s entertainment program.

HOUSE OF KESHA: Sydney, 23 January 2025
Untitled Group and XIII Touring presented HOUSE OF KESHA at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on 23 January 2025. The promoter described it as an intimate night of performances and unreleased music, and its event listing now labels the Sydney date sold out: Untitled Group’s HOUSE OF KESHA listing.
AO LIVE Presents: Melbourne, 25 January 2025
Two days later, Kesha was scheduled to appear with Armand Van Helden at John Cain Arena in Melbourne. The performance was part of AO LIVE Presents, which Tennis Australia described as three nights of international artists at the end of the Australian Open’s second week. Kesha and Van Helden were on the final-day bill.
#1 Best Overall
- Kesha’s new album, "." (Yes, it's just a period.) is an unapologetic declaration of artistic freedom and fearless authenticity. With over 3 billion streams, 10 Top 10 hits, four #1 pop radio singles, and two chart-topping albums, this two-time Grammy nominee has consistently redefined the boundaries of pop music. Now, independently releasing under her own label, Kesha Records, she’s liberated from constraints, taking complete ownership of her voice and vision.
- On . (PERIOD) Kesha transcends pop norms to create a raw, daring, and intensely personal sonic journey with the entire project conceived, co-produced and written by Kesha. It’s more than an album—it's a defiant act of self-expression, refusing to adhere to expectations or play it safe. Unfiltered, audacious, and vibrant, this record finds Kesha at her most powerful, turning her experiences into unapologetic art.
- Breaking free and fully in control, . (PERIOD) isn’t just music— it's Kesha unfiltered, fearless, with a spiked heel at the neck of pop culture.
The AO 2025 media kit said an AO LIVE ticket included a Ground Pass for the same day and listed tickets from $89. That was the price stated in the 10 October 2024 announcement for the 2025 event, not a current offer. The kit also quoted Australian Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley: “AO LIVE is an evolution of the AO’s music offering and will see live music and entertainment across the whole precinct in January, from fan-favourite performers in Garden Square to in-demand DJ’s spinning anthems on Grand Slam Oval.”

| AO LIVE Presents | Melbourne, John Cain Arena | 25 January 2025 | Australian Open music-program bill featuring Kesha and Armand Van Helden. Tennis Australia said the ticket included a same-day Ground Pass; the 2024 media kit listed tickets from $89. |
Where the announcement stands now
A July 2025 follow-up described the Sydney show as sold out and the AO Live performance as completed. As of 8 October 2026, both January 2025 dates are past, so the October 2024 announcement is historical rather than notice of an upcoming Australian appearance. The event listings and contemporary coverage do not provide a direct Kesha quotation about this announcement.
