In its July 24, 2025 report, People described Clarkson’s hair in the promo as a side-parted, wispy bob. The headline characterized it as a choppy bob. The report contrasted the shorter style with her longer blonde hair seen shortly beforehand, including during a Las Vegas residency performance.

In the promotional clip, Clarkson said, “This time, we’ve got some tricks up our sleeve. Y’all get ready.” People reported the line as part of the promo; it was not identified as an interview quote.
Season 29’s announced format and what happened next
People described a planned season 29 format that included teams of 10 artists, four rounds, a Triple Turn Competition, a Super Steal, an All-Star Showdown featuring past artists, and a super-fan and past-artist voting block in the semifinals and finale. Those were announced plans, rather than independently confirmed details of how every episode unfolded.
