What Perry performed
MTV’s listing does not provide a complete set list. Pitchfork reported that the performance was a 10-song medley, naming “Dark Horse,” “E.T.,” “I’m His, He’s Mine” with Doechii, “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” “I Kissed a Girl,” “Firework,” and “Lifetimes.” This is Pitchfork’s reported list, not a complete set list published by MTV.
Pitchfork identified “Lifetimes” as the closing song and the second single from Perry’s then-upcoming album 143. The VMA medley itself is a performance video, not a recording of the album.
