Walsh’s new look was a blonde pixie cut, a sharp contrast with her familiar red, mid-length hair. ABC News described a video in which images of her earlier hairstyles appeared behind her before being pulled away to reveal the cut. The pixie cut reveal was reported in late August 2024. Both reports connected the Instagram post to promotion for Walsh’s Boyfriend perfume brand. ABC News reproduced her caption: “Some things change, some things are forever…”
Who cut Kate Walsh’s hair?
ABC News reported that Walsh tagged hairstylist Amanda Lea Magistro in the reveal post. The report does not confirm that Magistro performed the haircut, so the tag alone does not establish who cut or styled Walsh’s hair.
