Who is Kacy Catanzaro in WWE?
WWE’s current official profile identifies her as Katana Chance and lists WWE Women’s Tag Team and NXT Women’s Tag Team championship career highlights. The name Kacy Catanzaro appears in WWE’s earlier coverage of her athletic background and her arrival at the WWE Performance Center. WWE’s Katana Chance profile uses promotional language describing her as “as mighty as they come”; that is WWE’s characterization, not an independent assessment.
“Diva” appears in the requested headline, but it should not be mistaken for the name used on her current WWE profile.
From NCAA gymnastics to American Ninja Warrior
Gymnastics
Before entering wrestling, Catanzaro competed in NCAA Division I gymnastics. WWE’s 2018 Mae Young Classic profile says she was named Southeast Regional Gymnast of the Year in 2012. WWE’s 2018 profile provides the dated background.

American Ninja Warrior milestones
WWE’s 2018 profile says Catanzaro first qualified for the American Ninja Warrior finals in 2013 and was, at the time, the only woman to complete that show’s City Finals course. These are two related details from the same profile, not a claim about her current standing on the program.
A separate WWE report, published January 17, 2018, says she became the first woman to complete American Ninja Warrior’s Warped Wall obstacle in 2014. That is a distinct accomplishment from completing the City Finals course. WWE’s report on her Performance Center arrival recounts the Warped Wall milestone.
