Brydon Bloom told ABC News, “We wanted a destination that felt private, romantic, and very relaxed.” Vogue says the couple had visited Mexico in February 2024 and liked the hotel’s low-key feel.
What happened during the ceremony?
The couple initially hoped to marry beside the water, but strong wind and blowing sand led them to change plans. Vogue reports that the ceremony took place on a sand dune near the beach. Theroux told Vogue, “A huge worry was that the wind was going to be a complicating factor for the weekend. It actually ended up being our best friend.”

According to Vogue, Victoria Beckham designed Brydon Bloom’s wedding gown, and Theroux wore Ralph Lauren. Vogue also identifies With Clarity as the maker of their custom wedding bands and Stephanie Gottlieb as the designer of the engagement ring. The feature does not give a model name or price for the bands, or establish that the couple’s exact rings are available to buy.
