When did Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 come out?
The official Japanese announcement, published November 7, 2025, set the Season 3 premiere for January 8, 2026. It identified the season as Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part 1 and specified a weekly Thursday broadcast at 12:26 a.m. on the MBS/TBS network’s 28 stations. The official announcement establishes the planned Japanese schedule; it does not give a reason for the timing.

Why was the premiere set for 2026?
The available official release announcement confirms the January 2026 start date, but does not say why that date was chosen. It does not attribute the timing to production delays, a scheduling problem, or any other cause. So the claim that Season 3 “won’t debut until 2026 at earliest” should not be read as an official explanation or as evidence that an earlier release was impossible.
Where can you watch Season 3?
Outside Japan
Crunchyroll announced in August 2025 that it would stream Season 3 in January 2026 across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS territories. Its announcement names those regions; it should not be taken as confirmation of availability in every country or of the current catalog in a particular location. Check the service in your territory for present availability.

The official Japanese on-air page lists broadcast and on-demand options, including Netflix and Prime Video. Its listings are organized for Japan, and services can change their catalogs, so check the relevant service and date rather than assuming the Japanese lineup applies elsewhere.

The season’s announced subtitle, Culling Game Part 1 (死滅回游 前編), identifies the arc it adapts. Crunchyroll describes the anime as based on Gege Akutami’s manga, making the manga the source material for readers who want to follow the story on the page. The cited announcements do not establish which English-language volumes cover the full arc, so a specific volume range should be checked against the edition and region before buying.
