The film marketed internationally as JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution opened in Japan on November 7, 2025, then rolled out across selected international markets on different dates. It is not a standalone adaptation of the full Culling Game arc: it combines a Shibuya Incident compilation with the first two episodes of Culling Game Part 1, shown ahead of season 3’s January 2026 broadcast and streaming start. The international announcements did not establish a release date for every country.
What is the Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Game movie?
JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution is the international title for a theatrical event released in Japan under the longer title JUJUTSU KAISEN: The Movie – Shibuya Incident Special Edition x Culling Game Advance Screening. It pairs a special compilation edit of season 2’s Shibuya Incident with the first two episodes of season 3’s Culling Game Part 1. The Japanese film site describes those episodes as receiving their world premiere in the film, while the international distributor describes it as a compilation film. The event is therefore a recap-plus-preview, not a feature-length theatrical adaptation of the entire Culling Game story. The official film site identifies the manga as Gege Akutami’s work, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 through September 2024. It reported more than 100 million copies in cumulative circulation, including digital editions; that is a manga circulation figure, not a film attendance or box-office total. North American screenings and language versions
GKIDS’ North American announcement distinguished the December 3 IMAX event from the nationwide rollout beginning December 5. It said screenings would be available in original Japanese and English-dubbed versions. The announcement does not establish that every cinema or showtime offered both versions, so local listings are the relevant record for a specific screening. GKIDS announcement

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures described releases across selected territories in EMEA, Latin America, and APAC. The published date list names specific markets, but it is not an exhaustive list of every country. No single date for every country worldwide was announced in these materials; absence from the list should not be treated as proof that no local screening ever took place. For Germany and Austria, Crunchyroll specified Japanese audio with German subtitles for German-speaking cinema screenings beginning November 25, 2025. No language format should be assumed for other markets unless a local listing states it. Crunchyroll announcement · Crunchyroll German announcement
