Why the Japanese time says 24:26
Japanese TV schedules sometimes use hours beyond 24 to identify a late-night broadcast as part of the previous evening’s programming day. Here, 24:26 on March 26 is the same instant as 00:26 on March 27. The official notice’s date should therefore be read alongside its time rather than mistaken for a daytime March 26 airing.
Is Episode 59 the Season 3 finale?
Yes. The official site identifies Episode 59 as Season 3 Episode 12 and the final episode of “The Culling Game: Part 1.” Its title is “Sendai Colony” (「仙台結界」). The finale was announced as an expanded special with a 27-minute main-program runtime, according to the March 19, 2026 official announcement.

How the Japanese broadcast schedule varied
The official Season 3 schedule lists the usual MBS/TBS network slot as Thursdays at 00:26. Episodes 55–59 were scheduled between February 26 and March 26, but the schedule was not identical every week: it listed 00:36 for February 5 and February 12, and an interlude at 26:00 on February 19. The notice also says times may change without notice, so the regular slot should not be treated as a guarantee for every broadcast.

Crunchyroll’s season announcement listed the January 8, 2026 premiere at 9:00 a.m. PT and weekly Thursday episodes at 8:30 a.m. PT beginning January 15. It named territories across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, India, and Southeast Asia. That announcement provides season-level launch information, not an independently verified Episode 59 clock time for every territory. Check the Crunchyroll season announcement and local catalog listing for the relevant market.
