Joss Stone revealed in a Channel 5 News interview that she and American musician Cody DaLuz had married in Nashville on October 26, 2023. She shared the news while discussing the musical The Time Traveller’s Wife, along with the story of a bouquet she took as a good omen.

Stone said the couple married in Nashville on Thursday, October 26, 2023. The marriage became public in reports published November 1 and 2, after she discussed it in an interview with 5 News. RTÉ’s November 2 report and The Irish News’s November 1 report both identify the wedding date and place.
How did Stone reveal the marriage?
Stone mentioned the wedding while speaking with 5 News correspondent Tessa Chapman and musical director Bill Buckhurst about The Time Traveller’s Wife. The November 2023 coverage connected the announcement to the musical’s opening at London’s Apollo Theatre. The Standard’s report covered that context.
Stone described attending a performance where a bouquet landed near her in an empty seat. She picked it up and later regarded the moment as a good omen before the wedding. As she put it, “I thought it was a good sign.” That was Stone’s personal interpretation of the coincidence, not a claim that the bouquet predicted the marriage.

What was the ceremony like?
In a May 2024 interview, Stone described the legal ceremony as lasting three minutes and said she wanted a larger celebration with family and friends. That later wish was separate from the Nashville marriage in October 2023; the larger gathering was something she hoped to have, not the ceremony she had just announced. Us Weekly reported her comments in May 2024.
What was known about their family at the time?
Contemporary coverage in November 2023 said Stone and DaLuz had two children together. RTÉ later reported in June 2025 that the couple had welcomed a fourth child, an update that should not be read back into what was known at the time of the marriage announcement. RTÉ’s June 2025 report gives that later family update.
