What is confirmed about the divorce?
Turner-Smith filed a petition to dissolve the marriage in Los Angeles County Superior Court on October 1, 2023, citing irreconcilable differences, according to the Los Angeles Times. ABC News reported that her petition sought joint custody of the couple’s daughter and requested that neither party receive spousal support (ABC News).
What did Turner-Smith request in 2024?
In December 2024, Turner-Smith reportedly sought $8,543 per month in child support, $28,641 per month in spousal support, and $250,000 toward legal fees and a forensic accountant, USA Today reported (USA Today). These were requests reported in connection with a later filing; they should not be confused with the different terms sought in the initial 2023 petition or with amounts ultimately awarded.
Did the couple have a prenup?
Published accounts disagree. Entertainment Tonight reported that Jackson and Turner-Smith did not have a prenuptial agreement (Entertainment Tonight). CNA Lifestyle, by contrast, said a filing emphasized that they did have one (CNA Lifestyle). The accounts do not resolve the conflict, so the existence or terms of a prenup cannot be stated as established here.

What did the 2025 settlement reportedly say?
E! News reported that the parties reached a settlement in 2025, with the agreement signed in April. According to that account, both waived claims to spousal support and the agreement included a separate contribution toward attorney fees (E! News). This reported settlement outcome is distinct from the support requests described in 2024.
E! News also reproduced a statement attributed to Turner-Smith’s filing: “During our marriage, Josh historically made more money than me and at times, significantly more.” That is her allegation in a filing, not an independently verified finding about either party’s income.

The sources cited in coverage of the divorce do not substantiate an $8 million net worth for Jackson. Nor do they establish that a particular fortune was exposed to division because the couple lacked a prenup. The reported support requests and settlement terms concern support and fees; they are not proof of a verified net-worth figure or a court finding about the value of Jackson’s assets.
