That is a third-party estimate, not a verified account of his finances: the sources reviewed do not disclose his salary, assets, debts, investments, or how the figure was calculated.
How much is Jorge Garcia worth?
The only specific figure identified in the sources reviewed is Celebrity Net Worth’s $5 million estimate. Its page was reviewed on October 8, 2026, but does not state when the estimate was first published or last updated. No audited personal-finance figure or original financial filing confirming the amount was identified.
For that reason, the most accurate wording is that Garcia is estimated to be worth $5 million by Celebrity Net Worth. The number should not be treated as a confirmed balance sheet or a precise measurement of what he owns after debts and other liabilities.
What is known about his career?
Garcia is widely known for playing Hugo “Hurley” Reyes on Lost and Jerry Ortega on Hawaii Five-0. Celebrity Net Worth lists Lost (2004–2010) and Hawaii Five-0 (2013–2019) among his prominent credits. These roles provide career context, but the available sources do not establish what Garcia earned from either show.

An Associated Press profile published by CBS News on October 31, 2014, covered Garcia’s work after Lost, including Alcatraz, Hawaii Five-0, and films. It described the season then airing as his transition from recurring guest star to series regular on Hawaii Five-0. The profile does not report his compensation. Garcia described an early career built around acting classes and commercial work while he held a bookstore job. In a 2015 interview with Cuatro, he recalled staying at the store until he could afford to leave. That account helps explain his path into acting, but it does not provide a basis for calculating his current wealth. Read the Cuatro interview.

Does Hurley’s lottery win explain Garcia’s net worth?
No. Hurley’s lottery winnings are part of the fictional Lost plot, not evidence about Garcia’s real finances. The AP profile identifies Hurley as the character whose luck centers on a lottery win; Celebrity Net Worth’s estimate is a separate third-party claim about the actor. Neither a character’s fortune nor a prominent role proves what an actor personally earned or retained.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is there a reliable breakdown of the estimate?
Not in the sources reviewed. They do not provide a salary disclosure, asset list, debt accounting, investment record, or documented calculation that could independently substantiate the $5 million figure. It is therefore not possible to responsibly attribute the estimate to a particular show, role, or source of income.
