In an Instagram caption quoted by Complex on February 10, 2025, Hudson described the jacket as an “up-cycled leather jacket” with “time-contextual, historically accurate patches” corresponding to Belichick’s lifelong football career. She said the patches were placed chronologically and included all 12 of his Super Bowl appearances.
Hudson also wrote that she “designed and created this piece with my own bare hands,” calling it an “honor piece.” Those statements establish her account of the jacket’s material, design, and authorship; the coverage does not provide an independent breakdown of every patch.
What was visible on the jacket
Us Weekly reported that Belichick’s name appeared on the back alongside eight Super Bowl win dates. The dates refer to his eight coaching wins: six as head coach of the New England Patriots and two as an assistant with the New York Giants, a record also reported by the Associated Press on February 7, 2025.

Appearances and wins are different counts
The 12 appearances are Hudson’s description of what the jacket’s patches covered; they should not be confused with Belichick’s eight coaching wins. The AP’s figure is six victories as Patriots head coach plus two as a Giants assistant. Hudson’s separate claim that those 12 appearances amount to “more than 20% of all Super Bowls” is her comparison in the caption, not an independently verified statistic in the cited coverage.
Was the jacket for sale?
The reports describe a custom, handmade garment worn at the 2025 Super Bowl. They do not identify a retail model, seller, patch supplier, or licensed replica, so the jacket is best understood as Hudson’s one-off creation rather than a documented product.
