The Johnny Depp film about real-life Boston gangster Whitey Bulger is Black Mass (2015). Its supporting cast includes Joel Edgerton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dakota Johnson, Kevin Bacon, Peter Sarsgaard and Jesse Plemons. Whether it is on Netflix depends on your country: Netflix’s title page currently says it is unavailable in the country context shown, so the headline’s “now on Netflix” claim should not be treated as worldwide or permanent.
