The role remained closely associated with Aprea. In a 2020 interview, as quoted by TheWrap, he said, “The Godfather: Part II just stays with you, it’s a part of who you are.” He added, “It is one of the best films ever made.”
Who played Jesse’s father on Full House?
Aprea played Nick Katsopolis, the father of John Stamos’s character, Jesse, on Full House. He appeared in the series from 1988 to 1991 and returned to the role in Fuller House in 2017, according to CBS News.

CBS News reported that Aprea was survived by his wife, Betsy Garci; his daughter Nicole, from his previous marriage to actress Cherie Latimer; and his stepchildren Marika Parker and Valentino Garci.
