Joel Kim Booster criticized Shannon Beador in Instagram Stories after filming Bravo’s Love Hotel, then apologized on October 11, 2024, saying an on-set conflict had clouded his judgment. Beador had said she was confused by the remarks and remembered Booster expressing happiness for her before the show’s wrap party. The accusations about her conduct remain Booster’s allegations; the cited reports do not independently verify them.
What Joel Kim Booster said about Shannon Beador
On September 29, 2024, Booster posted Instagram Stories criticizing Beador’s alleged treatment of people working on Love Hotel. The posts were later deleted. TV Insider reported screenshots and quoted Booster’s accusations, but those claims are not independently established by the coverage cited here. How Beador responded
At a live event with Vicki Gunvalson on October 3, Beador said she did not understand Booster’s criticism. She recalled that before the wrap party he had seemed happy for her, saying, “I really don’t know what it’s about because that night before the wrap party, he had tears in his eyes and he said, ‘I’m so happy for you.’” Us Weekly reported the remark from social-media footage obtained from an attendee. Booster’s apology
On October 11, Booster apologized in an Instagram Story. Us Weekly reproduced his statement: “I let an onset conflict cloud my judgment and accessed the darkest, ugliest part of myself and said things I don’t stand by or even believe and I am deeply sorry that allowed my worst self to cloud my judgment.” He also wrote, “I regret making this a part of the story of our show.” Booster apologized to Beador and said he disavowed his earlier statements. Us Weekly reported the apology on October 11.
