What do the Rotten Tomatoes scores mean?
The Tomatometer is the share of counted critic reviews Rotten Tomatoes classifies as positive. The Popcornmeter is its separate audience-rating measure. They reflect different groups and are not scores to combine into one number.

The critics consensus reads: “Much like a preservative-packed toaster pastry, Unfrosted is sweet and colorful, yet it’s ultimately an empty experience that may leave the consumer feeling pangs of regret.” Rotten Tomatoes presents this as its consensus, not as a quotation from a named critic.
What is Unfrosted about?
Written and directed by Jerry Seinfeld, Unfrosted is a 2024 comedy built around a fictionalized 1963 rivalry between Kellogg’s and Post to create a breakfast pastry. Netflix describes it as a “Pop-Tart comedy”; the Associated Press likewise describes it as a comedy about the invention of the Pop-Tart. The film premiered on Netflix on May 3, 2024. Rotten Tomatoes lists a 1 hour 33 minute runtime and a PG-13 rating.
