The $52 million removal was not the end of the story for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s Beverly Crest mansion. The home was relisted in May 2026 for $49.995 million, entered escrow in July, and was reported back on the market after that deal collapsed. Realtor.com still showed it listed at $49.995 million on October 8, 2026.
What happened to the Beverly Crest mansion?
The property at 2571 Wallingford Drive in Los Angeles was taken off the market on January 27, 2026, after being listed for $52 million the previous September, according to the listing history displayed by Realtor.com. That removal is the event behind the earlier “off the market again” headlines, but it is not the latest reported status.
In May, Lopez relisted the estate for $49.95 million. Realtor.com reported that Affleck had transferred his interest to her under an amended property settlement; the settlement document itself was not independently reviewed. The listing history subsequently displayed a $49.995 million asking price, which Realtor.com still showed on October 8, 2026.
Why did the sale fall through?
In July 2026, The Real Deal reported that Lopez had accepted an offer and the home was in escrow. Listing agent Branden Williams confirmed the contract, but the buyer’s identity and the terms were not disclosed. Later, TMZ reported that the deal had fallen through, and Century City News reported on September 1 that the property was back on the market after escrow collapsed.

The reason the buyer withdrew is not established in those reports. An accepted offer and an escrow period do not mean a sale closed; the available reporting does not establish a completed sale.

The successive figures describe different things: the 2023 amount was the purchase price, while the later figures were public asking prices, not confirmed sale prices.

As of October 8, 2026, Realtor.com’s property page showed the home listed at $49.995 million. Reports say the July escrow did not result in a completed transaction, and the cited sources do not establish a later closing. That status is time-sensitive: a subsequent listing change or recorded sale could alter it.
