Australian fitness coach and social media influencer Jaxon Tippet died in Turkey in November 2024, days after his 30th birthday. His family said they had been told he died of a heart attack, according to reports by Futurism and 7NEWS. Those accounts do not establish an independently confirmed medical cause of death.
What was reported about Tippet’s death
Tippet, an Australian fitness coach known online for bodybuilding and motivational content, was on holiday in Turkey when he died, the two outlets reported on November 13, 2024. He was 30. Both reports attributed the heart-attack account to what his family had been told; the sources cited here do not provide a medical or coronial finding confirming the cause.
What is known about his past steroid use
Futurism reported that Tippet had struggled with steroid use. The outlet also reported that in 2017 he was fined $4,000 by Southport Magistrates Court after being caught with steroid tablets, testosterone vials and injection equipment. That reported legal matter documents past possession; it does not establish what caused his death or whether steroid use played a role.
What Tippet said about his health
In a 2022 Good Humans podcast episode linked by Futurism, Tippet described symptoms he associated with his steroid use. Futurism quoted him recalling: “I could feel my health deteriorating,” he said. “I was very tired. I was yellow in the face, my urine was almost orange… I couldn’t get an erection.” These are his personal recollections, not a medical assessment or evidence about the cause of his death.

How he presented himself publicly
Futurism described Tippet’s Instagram and TikTok accounts as encouraging aspiring bodybuilders to look after their mental health and stay positive. 7NEWS likewise characterized his content as motivational advice. Those reports describe his public-facing message; they do not resolve the medical questions surrounding his death.
What this story does—and does not—show
Tippet’s death and the reporting about his earlier steroid use are facts that can be discussed separately. The available accounts do not establish a connection between the two. A family-reported explanation of a death should not be presented as a confirmed diagnosis, and one person’s history cannot establish a broader pattern about fitness influencers or steroid-related mortality.
