Jane Seymour shared photos with musician John Zambetti around October 1, 2023, and wrote on Instagram, “I’ve never been happier.” The posts made their romance public in the coverage at the time; they were not a new relationship announcement when Fox News reported on them October 8, 2023.
What Jane Seymour shared in October 2023
Fox News reported that Seymour made her romance with Zambetti public the previous weekend, while a PEOPLE story syndicated by Yahoo, dated October 5, said she posted a photo on Sunday, October 1. The reports differ on whether the post included one image or two, so the clearest account is that Seymour shared photos around October 1.

Her reported Instagram caption was, “I’ve never been happier.” Fox News also reported that Zambetti later posted images from a U2 concert at the Sphere in Las Vegas. One caption, attributed to Zambetti, read: “With Jane on red carpet at the U2 concert at The Sphere, Las Vegas last night.” Fox News’s October 8, 2023 report covered the photos and the concert post.
What happened to David Green?
Seymour had previously been in a relationship with British film producer David Green. Fox News described that relationship as lasting nine years. In the reported Instagram exchange, a commenter asked, “What happened to David?” Seymour replied, “We decided we were better as friends.” The PEOPLE story syndicated by Yahoo reported the exchange.

What later coverage says about Seymour and Zambetti
The 2023 posts established that Seymour and Zambetti were presenting themselves publicly as a couple; they did not announce an engagement. A separate ArcaMax report published in October 2026 later described them as engaged. That is a later development reported by a secondary source, not part of the original Instagram announcement. Read the October 2026 ArcaMax report.
A June 2026 TODAY report quoted Seymour discussing feeling happy and energetic at age 75, but that story does not establish her relationship status. TODAY’s June 2026 report is about her comments on well-being, not a relationship update.
