The department said its preliminary investigation found a physical altercation between parties and that it completed a report documenting battery. No arrests were made.

Why did Foxx need stitches, and was anyone arrested?
According to his spokesperson, Foxx needed stitches because the glass thrown from another table struck him in the mouth. Police said no arrests were made. The reports do not establish what prompted the incident or identify who threw the glass.
