What happened in Jade and Lachie Brycki’s announcement video?
In its 10 December 2023 report, PerthNow described the video as opening with Jade taking a pregnancy test and realizing it was positive. The report says the next scene showed baby clothes, a newborn blanket and small socks arranged on the couple’s bed as a surprise for Lachie. The couple embraced and cried, and the announcement also included an ultrasound.
These are details reported by PerthNow about the Instagram post; they are not an independently verified scene-by-scene account of the original video. The report did not identify the pregnancy-test brand.
What did the announcement say?
The caption reproduced by PerthNow read: “Baby Brycki, our hearts are forever yours. Due in June.” In the context of the December 2023 post, “June” meant June 2024. The couple were announcing their first child.

When was their son born?
A follow-up report said the couple’s son, Fletcher Ted Brycki, arrived on 13 June 2024—his due date. PerthNow reported his arrival the same day.
What happened after the first pregnancy announcement?
The 2023 video was not a current pregnancy announcement. In May 2025, the couple announced they were expecting a second child, due in December. PerthNow later reported the birth of their second son, Harvey Brooks, on 19 November 2025. The outlet’s later report covered the birth.
