Their over-the-top make-out closes a sketch built around a lineup of “short kings” and one obviously mismatched suitor.
What happens in the sketch?
The mock dating show revolves around a group of “short kings.” Elordi’s Jackson stands out as the notably tall contestant, and Fineman’s Tiffany picks him almost immediately. The sketch turns that mismatch into its central joke: Jackson’s appeal is treated as irresistible even when he offers reasons a conventional dating-show contestant might be rejected.

Jackson introduces himself by saying, “I’m from Pittsburgh, I technically still have a girlfriend, and I need to borrow $200,000.” Later, he tells Tiffany, “Tiffany, from the bottom of my heart, your body is just OK.” She accepts the insult with, “Yeah that’s fine. You win!” Jackson then picks her up and the pair make out. These are lines spoken by fictional characters in the sketch, not statements about Elordi or Fineman’s personal lives.
Who else appears?
Bowen Yang, Molly Kearney, and Marcello Hernandez play the other suitors. Mikey Day is the host of the fictional dating show, whose contestants look dejected as Day’s character makes condescending remarks.
When was the sketch reported?
Yahoo Entertainment published its report on January 21, 2024, identifying Elordi as the guest host. The available report excerpt describes the sketch but does not establish the precise broadcast date or episode number, so those details should not be inferred from the article’s publication date.
