Asked about taking on a “new identity,” Fisher acknowledged the difficulty of the transition while describing self-exploration as one of its positives. “You get to reflect on your values and goals, explore new interests, focus on what you want and rebuild your sense of self,” she said.
She also talked about returning to interests she had put aside while raising a family and giving more attention to supportive, longstanding relationships. Fisher summed up her approach this way: “There are lots of positives that have come about from all this—like self-exploration and just trying to be kind to myself.” These are her personal reflections, not a prescription for how anyone else should experience or navigate divorce.
