What Willow TV and Willow HD are
Willow is a cricket-focused broadcaster serving the United States and Canada. “Willow HD” may mean the linear television channel, the online Premium stream, or the Willow by Cricbuzz app. Its programming includes live cricket, highlights, replays, scorecards and commentary rather than a general lineup of football, hockey, basketball or other sports. Willow describes coverage involving competitions and boards such as the ICC, IPL, Cricket Australia, England Cricket Board, Pakistan Cricket Board, CPL and BBL, but rights vary by tournament, date and territory. Is Willow live streaming free in Canada?

The plan includes live cricket in HD, highlights, full-match replays, scorecards and commentary, including English or Hindi commentary for ICC events and IPL. The Canadian Apple App Store listing shows an annual price of $79.99 and several different monthly in-app prices, including $8.99 and $12.49. Website and app-store billing are separate checkout channels, so verify the final Canadian-dollar amount, taxes and any promotion before paying: Apple App Store Canada.
Willow’s current Canadian information establishes paid monthly and annual plans, but not a universal free trial. If signup displays a temporary trial or preview, confirm its terms before accepting it.

What cricket can you watch?
Willow is principally for cricket fans. Depending on Canadian rights for the particular event, its advertised portfolio can include:
- Indian Premier League (IPL) matches.
- ICC tournaments.
- International Tests, ODIs and T20Is.
- Cricket-board programming involving Australia, England, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the West Indies.
- T20 leagues such as the Big Bash League (BBL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Major League Cricket (MLC), where rights permit.
A Premium subscription does not guarantee every match promoted elsewhere. Willow says live availability depends on regional rights; open the Canadian event listing before subscribing.

Ways to watch Willow in Canada
Direct Premium subscription
- Open Willow’s Canadian subscription page.
- Choose monthly or annual Premium.
- Review the displayed price, taxes and promotion.
- Create or verify your account.
- Sign in on the website or Willow by Cricbuzz app.
- Open the match page and confirm that the event is available in Canada.
Existing television package
- Confirm that Willow is included in your cable, satellite, IPTV or streaming-TV package.
- Open Willow’s website or supported app.
- Select Login with TV Provider.
- Choose your provider and complete its authentication process.
- Open the available live channel or match listing.
Use Willow’s login page. Provider names, package names and availability can differ by province and may change. If authentication succeeds but a match is locked, the package may lack the required entitlement, Canadian rights may differ, or the event may be assigned to another Willow feed.
Limited free access
- Register for a Willow account if the event page permits it.
- Check the actual live listing for a free label.
- Determine whether the item is a registered-user stream, preview, highlights/replay or Premium event.
- Do not treat one free match as access to the complete Willow HD schedule.
Devices and simultaneous viewing
Willow identifies support for computer browsers, smartphones, tablets, Apple TV, Roku, Samsung TV, Amazon Fire TV, Xbox One, Android TV, Google TV, Chromecast and other compatible connected-TV devices. The Apple App Store listing requires iOS 15 or later for iPhone and iPad and tvOS 17 or later for Apple TV.

Willow’s FAQ says a subscription can use Premium content on up to two devices simultaneously. That is a simultaneous-stream limit, not unlimited household sharing. On Samsung televisions, Willow’s FAQ lists current app support for 2022–2026 models and warns that 2021 and older models may not have the latest app. Use Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android/Google TV, Chromecast or mobile casting where supported. “The page says free, but the match is locked.”
- You may be viewing highlights or a replay rather than live coverage.
- The event may require Premium or TV-provider authentication.
- You may not be signed in.
- Canadian rights may differ from U.S. rights.
- The match may be on another Willow feed.
“I subscribed, but the event is missing.”
- Check the account and purchase route used.
- Check territorial rights and the Canadian event listing.
- When several matches overlap, look for Willow Extra or another feed.
- Update the app and confirm that the subscription is linked to the correct Willow account.
“The stream works on one device but not another.”
Check the app version, operating-system support, account entitlement, two-device limit, device region and whether that platform supports the event.

Travel, recording and downloads
Willow states that its digital service is available in the United States and Canada, with live access subject to regional rights. Do not use a VPN to bypass territorial restrictions. The FAQ also says streams may be watched but content may not be downloaded or recorded.
Which option fits your viewing?
