The clearest international evidence is the company’s statement that Yellowstone was Paramount+’s leading international engagement and start driver in Q1 2025. Later reports point to sizable global audiences for Landman, The Madison and Marshals. These are company-reported metrics, however, not an independent ranking of Sheridan against other creators or a country-by-country measure of popularity.
What the international evidence says about Yellowstone
Paramount said Yellowstone was Paramount+’s number one engagement and start driver internationally in Q1 2025. That is direct evidence of strong performance outside the U.S. on the service during that quarter, though the company statement does not provide country-level totals or define the size of the lead over other titles. Paramount’s Q1 2025 results also reported 79 million global subscribers for Paramount+ at that time. That subscriber figure describes the platform in Q1 2025; it is not a current total and does not measure the audience for Yellowstone.

How large was Landman season 2’s launch?
Paramount said the Landman season 2 premiere, which debuted November 16, 2025, generated 9.2 million global streaming views in its first two days. The company described that as 262% above the season 1 premiere and called it the most-watched premiere for a Paramount+ original series. These are Paramount’s own figures, published November 20, 2025, rather than results from an independent cross-platform ratings service. Paramount’s release on the premiere says its internal measurement included domestic direct-to-consumer, channels and wholesale/MVPD/vMVPD data; international measurement used direct-to-consumer, affiliate linear and hard-bundle data where available. The resulting global total is a company-defined streaming-views measure, and its international inputs cover only territories and data sources available to Paramount.
What later reports say about Sheridan’s other series
Paramount Skydance’s Q1 2026 shareholder update added further company-reported audience claims: it called Landman Paramount+’s most-watched series ever, reported 12.5 million global viewers for The Madison in its first month, and said Marshals had reached more than 18.5 million global viewers, including nearly five million internationally. The Q1 2026 shareholder update presents these as company figures.

Those numbers indicate reach, but they are not interchangeable. Landman’s 9.2 million is a two-day count of streaming views for a premiere; the update’s figures use “viewers” and different windows, including a first month or a cumulative total. Without a shared definition and matching measurement periods, the figures cannot establish which series is more popular or support a clean title-to-title comparison.

The evidence supports saying Sheridan’s work has reached international audiences: Paramount explicitly identified Yellowstone as its leading international engagement and start driver in Q1 2025, and reported international viewers within Marshals’ global total in its Q1 2026 update. It does not show a country-by-country map, a consistent international audience measure across every series, or a ranking against every other creator. “Escaped America” is therefore a punchy description of global reach, not a precise geographic or industry-wide measurement.
