The movie is Anyone But You, the 2023 romantic comedy starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell. BGR reported on April 23, 2024, that it was available on Netflix then—but that is a dated, territory-dependent listing, not confirmation that it is streaming in your country today. Netflix’s January 2026 Sony announcement names the film as part of an existing deal but does not confirm its current local availability.
Which Sydney Sweeney movie does the headline mean?
It means Anyone But You, a romantic comedy starring Sweeney and Glen Powell. The phrase “biggest movie” is not a precise ranking on its own: it could refer to box-office gross, audience viewing, popularity, or another measure.

If “biggest” means box-office gross, BGR reported in its April 23, 2024 story that the film had grossed more than $200 million, against a $25 million budget. Those are BGR’s figures; the budget was not independently verified here as a production-cost figure, and the gross was not independently checked or compared against Sweeney’s full filmography. The figures therefore support describing it as a major box-office success according to BGR, not as a definitive, current ranking of her biggest film.
Is Anyone But You on Netflix now?
BGR said it was on Netflix when that outlet published its story on April 23, 2024. Netflix catalogs vary by country and change over time, so that historical report cannot establish whether the film is available to stream where you live now. Search for the title in Netflix while signed in from your country, or check Netflix’s local title page before relying on a listing elsewhere.
#1 Best Overall
- In the edgy comedy Anyone But You, Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold - until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.
On January 15, 2026, Netflix announced that Anyone But You was among the films in its existing Sony Pictures Pay-1 offering. The same announcement describes a newer agreement whose availability will roll out territory by territory, with full global availability expected in early 2029. It does not say that this particular film is currently included in every country’s Netflix catalog.

The announcement provides context for Sony films on Netflix, but it is not a country-by-country availability guide. It names Anyone But You among titles in the existing deal and says the newer global arrangement will expand in stages. That future rollout should not be confused with a guarantee that the film is available in your territory now, or that its status will be the same everywhere before early 2029.
Rank #2
For a current viewing decision, the practical check is the title’s listing in your own Netflix account. If it is absent, the available subscription, rental, or purchase options may depend on your country; the sources cited here do not establish a current alternative listing or price.
