Mani Reggo and Davi Brito were publicly presented as a couple during Big Brother Brasil 24, but the word “wife” used during the show does not establish that they were legally married. In April 2024, Davi first said they were still together, then confirmed they had split and called Mani his ex-girlfriend. The former partners later gave conflicting accounts of who ended the relationship.
Were Mani Reggo and Davi Brito married?
Entertainment coverage called Mani Davi’s wife during BBB 24. For example, SBT used that label in a 22 February 2024 report, but the report does not establish a civil marriage. The public label should not be treated as proof of legal marital status. SBT’s report
After the show, coverage more often described Mani as Davi’s girlfriend. Gshow reported that they had been together for about a year and six months. The sources cited here support describing them as a couple who dated; they do not establish that they were legally married.
Why did the labels change after BBB 24?
| Date | What was reported | What the label or statement establishes |
|---|---|---|
| 22 February 2024 | SBT called Mani Davi’s wife during BBB 24. | A public label used at the time, not proof of legal marriage. SBT |
| 17 April 2024 | On Mais Você, Gshow referred to Mani as Davi’s girlfriend and reported they had been together for about a year and six months. Davi joked, “A gente está na fase do conhecimento, do beijinho, de tomar sorvete na praia olhando o mar” (“We’re in the getting-to-know-each-other phase, having little kisses, eating ice cream on the beach looking at the sea”). | His playful remark and the girlfriend label added to the uncertainty about how he described their relationship after the finale. Gshow |
| 20 April 2024 | Davi said he was still with Mani; Gshow described their relationship as lasting about a year and a half. | This was his statement on that date, before he later confirmed their separation. Gshow |
| 22 April 2024 | Gshow reported uncertainty around the couple’s status, noting that Mani had removed “wife of Davi” from her Instagram profile. Mani said, “Não tenho ainda as respostas para todas as perguntas que me faço (e que me fazem)” (“I still don’t have the answers to all the questions I ask myself—and that people ask me”). | Her statement reflected uncertainty at that point; it was not a definitive breakup announcement. Gshow |
| 24 April 2024 | Davi confirmed they were no longer together and called Mani his ex-girlfriend. Gshow reported a relationship of about a year and a half. | A clear breakup confirmation from Davi. He also said Mani ended it, which is his account rather than an independently settled fact. Gshow |
Who ended the relationship?
The accounts conflict, so there is no basis in these reports to state the initiator as settled fact. In the Altas Horas appearance reported by Gshow on 24 April, Davi said, “Até a minha própria ex-namorada, ela que terminou comigo, ela não soube respeitar o meu momento que estava vivendo” (“Even my own ex-girlfriend, the one who broke up with me, did not know how to respect the moment I was going through”). That is Davi’s description of the breakup.

UOL reported on 5 May that Davi said he tried to maintain the relationship and had pursued reconciliation. CNN Brasil later reported Mani’s account that the breakup was Davi’s decision. Because their explanations differ, attribute each claim to its speaker rather than choosing one as fact. UOL Splash; CNN Brasil

The reports cited here document a breakup confirmation in April 2024, not the former partners’ relationship or legal status in October 2026. The reliable conclusion from this timeline is that they were publicly described as a couple, separated in 2024 according to Davi’s confirmation, and disputed who initiated the split.
