Landman has not been cancelled: Paramount announced that Season 3 production began in Fort Worth on October 1, 2026. Taylor Sheridan’s reported move to NBCUniversal is tied to the end of his Paramount television contract in 2028, but no announcement says he is leaving the series now—or explains who would lead it after that date.
Is Landman cancelled?
No. Paramount’s official series listing marks Landman “RENEWED FOR SEASON 3,” and Paramount announced on October 1, 2026 that production on the new season had commenced in Fort Worth, Texas. Those are concrete signs the series is continuing; they do not establish its long-term future beyond the current season.
Paramount describes the drama as co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, and names Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions as producers. Its Season 3 announcement also said Michael Kelly was joining the season and that cast members had been promoted. Paramount’s production announcement does not give a premiere date.
What Sheridan’s 2028 move does—and does not—mean
The Associated Press reported on October 7, 2026 that Sheridan’s Paramount television contract runs out in 2028, when he is expected to move to NBCUniversal. That is a future company move, not an announcement that he has left Landman or that the show has been cancelled. The AP report does not specify when his work on the series might end, whether he will continue contributing after the contract expires, or who would take over any creative responsibilities.

Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Paramount identifies Sheridan and Wallace as co-creators, but that credit alone does not resolve who would guide the show after 2028. Until the companies or series announce a plan, a post-contract handoff remains unknown.
When will Landman Season 3 come out?
No Season 3 premiere date has been announced in the available Paramount materials. Paramount’s April 14, 2026 viewing guide said a date had not been announced, and the October production-start announcement did not add one. Production beginning is not the same as a confirmed release window, so any specific premiere date or season timing should be treated as unconfirmed unless Paramount announces it.

Where can you watch Landman?
Paramount’s guide identifies Paramount+ as the series’ exclusive streaming home. That is the current arrangement described by the source, not a guarantee of availability in every country or of future distribution. The Associated Press reported that Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming services are expected to unify over time, but no timeline was announced; it is too early to say whether or when that could affect Landman’s service listing.

Paramount’s December 5, 2025 renewal announcement cited strong viewing figures. The company said the Season 2 premiere drew more than 9.2 million streaming views in its first two days. In the same release, Paramount quoted Nielsen preliminary estimates of 1.19 billion viewing minutes for the week of November 17–23, 2025, and 1.3 billion for November 24–30. These are reported figures with defined time windows—not independently audited audience counts presented here—and they help explain the show’s commercial significance without predicting how long it will run.
