That is not the same as John Travolta’s individual home being listed, and the report does not confirm that the community remains for sale today. The latest located coverage is dated February 25, 2026.
What is reported to be for sale?
The reported offering is Jumbolair Aviation Estates, a fly-in aviation community and airport property near Anthony, north of Ocala. The February 25, 2026 report from Ocala-News described the broader community as on the market for $10.5 million. That is a dated report, not confirmation of an active listing on October 7, 2026; a current broker or authoritative property record would be needed to establish its status now.
Earlier coverage also reported a $10.5 million asking price for the community in July 2019. The 2019 description included more than 550 acres, a 7,550-foot lighted runway, industrial and equestrian facilities, residences, and event space. Those details describe that historical offering and should not be treated as a current inventory. (Ocala-News, July 16, 2019.)
Is Travolta’s own home included?
The reports distinguish the larger Jumbolair property from Travolta’s separate estate within the development. The Ocala Gazette reported that the larger property sold for $9.5 million in a transaction that closed February 26, 2021. Its account described that sale as including 550 acres, the 7,550-foot runway, warehouse space, a mansion, and a banquet facility. Separately, it described Travolta as owning an almost-20-acre property in Jumbolair, with a 6,600-square-foot home and space to park his Boeing 707 beside it. The sale reporting does not establish that his individual estate was part of the larger sale or is now listed. (Ocala Gazette, March 2, 2021.)

In the same 2021 report, listing agent Bartow McDonald said: “We received multiple offers from a number of people both in the US and a number of other countries.” He was discussing offers for the larger Jumbolair property, not a sale of Travolta’s home.
What the earlier offering included
The 2019 listing description gives a sense of the scale of the broader community, but it is not a verified account of what a buyer would receive today. Ocala-News reported more than 550 acres, a runway said to accommodate aircraft as large as a Boeing 737, an 88,730-square-foot manufacturing facility, a 7,686-square-foot mansion with a pool, an 8,735-square-foot banquet and conference hall, a fitness center, horse barns, hangars, rental units, and developed estate lots with runway access. These figures belong to the 2019 description, not a current property inspection or listing statement.

What a buyer would need to verify
The runway is central to the property’s appeal, but access and operating rules have been disputed. In May 2026, the Ocala Gazette reported litigation involving residents represented by the Jumbolair Aviation Estates Owners Association, developer Robert Bull and related entities, and Marion County over runway control, development, and the county’s land-use determination. The report also described separate ongoing litigation by Hawker Investment Trust, which it identified as the owner of Travolta’s estate. (Ocala Gazette, May 14, 2026.)
That report said a circuit judge had ruled in November 2025 that a 60,000-pound runway weight restriction was void and unenforceable because the required 90% homeowner vote had not been obtained. It also reported a March 2026 temporary injunction blocking enforcement of “2026 Airport Procedures” and allowing continued safe operation of Hawker’s Boeing 737-300. The developer filed an appeal on April 13, 2026. Those were procedural developments reported as of May 14, not a final resolution of the dispute; buyers should verify the current court record and access terms.

Land-use rules also warrant checking. In February 2026, Ocala-News reported that Marion County commissioners were considering draft Land Development Code provisions for private airports and fly-in communities. The proposal, as described in that report, would treat existing lawfully established communities as legal conforming uses; a second public hearing was scheduled for March 23, 2026. The cited coverage does not establish the hearing’s outcome or the rules now in force. (Ocala-News, February 25, 2026.)
- Confirm which parcels, buildings, and operating rights are actually included in any current offering.
- Obtain current documentation for runway access, aircraft limits, airport procedures, and any association requirements.
- Review the latest litigation and county land-use records rather than relying on dated news accounts.
- Verify any asking price and listing status directly with a current broker or authoritative property record.
Do other Jumbolair listings mean Travolta’s home is for sale?
No. A BEX Realty community page accessed October 7, 2026 displayed two other homes in Jumbolair Aviation Estates: 1801 NE 77th Street at $1.425 million and 9390 NE 16th Terrace marked under contract at $259,000. The page did not identify either as Travolta’s estate and cautioned that its displayed real-estate data might not include every participating MLS listing. Those entries therefore do not establish that his home—or the entire community—is currently for sale. (BEX Realty community listings.)
