What did Aaron Paul say about Dispatch season 2?
In a Variety interview published before the first season’s final two episodes arrived on November 12, 2025, Paul described himself as uncertain about continuing the story. As reproduced by AOL/Entertainment Weekly, he said: “Maybe, maybe not. With good storytelling, there’s always room. I think it could end perfectly here. But also, the door is definitely slightly a jar, for sure, for more. So we’ll see.”
That is an expression of personal openness, not news that a second season has been ordered. Paul’s point was that the existing story could provide a satisfying ending, but that more story remained possible if it were worth telling.
Has AdHoc confirmed a second season?
No. AdHoc has not confirmed a second season in the official materials reviewed through October 8, 2026. That is a limited finding about those materials, not proof that no announcement exists elsewhere.

In an interview with Destructoid shortly before the first-season finale, AdHoc co-founder Michael Choung said: “It’s very early. We’re very excited, so of course there are ideas and conversations, but nothing that we can super commit to yet.” He added: “We’re definitely having the conversations now, but just nothing to commit to just yet.”
Co-founder Pierre Shorette mentioned elements that might appear in “season two, potentially,” and said the team was being asked about another season while it had more opportunities than bandwidth. Separately, Nick Herman said on the Friends Per Second podcast, as reported by AOL/Entertainment Weekly: “I think we’re going to have to at least think about season 2 now.” These comments indicate consideration and interest, not a greenlight.
What is Dispatch about, and is the first season complete?
Dispatch is a choice-driven superhero workplace comedy. Players follow Robert Robertson, formerly Mecha Man, after his suit is destroyed and he takes a job dispatching a team of misfit, reformed villains for the Superhero Dispatch Network. Choices shape relationships and story outcomes. Steam lists all episodes as available.
The game first launched for PC and PS5 on October 22, 2025, according to Game Informer. Its later platform releases were listed for Switch and Switch 2 on January 28, 2026, and Xbox Series X|S on July 29, 2026. These dates describe the original game’s releases, not a second season.

Does the physical edition announcement mean season 2 is coming?
No. AdHoc’s August 25, 2026 announcement concerns physical editions of the original game, not a sequel. The announced Switch 2 Deluxe Edition includes the Switch game and Switch 2 upgrade pack, digital artbook and comics, a soundtrack download code, a printed 16-page booklet, and a poster. AdHoc said the editions were expected in Q4 2026.
AdHoc has reported more than 4 million players and 4.4 billion views for Dispatch. Those are studio-reported audience figures; they do not establish a renewal decision or predict when another season might arrive. No season-two release date, budget, or production commitment has been announced in the reviewed official materials.
