No official announcement confirms Addison Rae for Spilt Milk. The speculation began in April 2025, when fans read a headphones emoji in a festival teaser as a reference to her song “Headphones On.” Spilt Milk’s team said the emoji simply meant “sound on.” Rae is also absent from the official 2026 lineup page reviewed on 8 October 2026.
Why fans thought Addison Rae might be on the lineup
On 23 April 2025, PerthNow reported that Spilt Milk was teasing a forthcoming lineup after cancelling its 2024 event. A video shared in the festival’s Instagram message channel used a Nessa Barrett song and appeared with headphones and “sound on” emojis.
Some fans connected the headphones to Addison Rae’s recently released single “Headphones On.” That was an interpretation of the teaser, not an artist announcement. The report did not identify an individual festival spokesperson.
What Spilt Milk said about the emoji
In replies to fans, the festival team clarified that the emoji was a direction to turn on the audio. PerthNow quoted the replies: “I literally just meant sound on pls no 😭” and “I just meant sound on I swear 😭.” The team did not say it was hinting at Rae.
