Rey Mysterio has said his daughter Aalyah tried training at the WWE Performance Center, returned for two weeks, and was preparing to go back. He has also stressed that the choice is hers. Those updates show interest and training—not a confirmed WWE contract or debut. Dominik Mysterio has said he believes she is heading to WWE, but that is his opinion, not an official announcement.
What Rey Mysterio has said about Aalyah’s WWE future
Rey’s account describes an early exploration of wrestling, followed by a return to training. In a June 2026 interview on Six Feet Under, he said Aalyah had first tried the WWE Performance Center in October 2025, then went back for two weeks in February 2026. He said she enjoyed the experience and was preparing to return to “establish herself at the PC.” POST Wrestling’s June 10 report and Fightful’s account of the same comments cover the update.
Rey framed her future as a personal decision rather than an expected family succession. “It’s gotta come from in here. You gotta feel it…” he said, according to Fightful’s June 10, 2026 transcript. He has said he did not push wrestling on his children and does not want Aalyah to feel obligated to continue if it does not feel right to her.
How Aalyah’s training has developed
First reported visit: September 2025
F4WOnline reported in September 2025 that Rey said Aalyah had gone with him to the Performance Center, tried basic ring work, and enjoyed it. The report also mentioned her recent UC San Diego graduation and a visit to Natalya and TJ Wilson’s training school. These details describe early exposure, not a settled career decision. F4WOnline’s September 14 report provides that context.

February 2026: testing her interest
In a February interview with Cody Rhodes, Rey described Aalyah stepping into the ring, hitting the ropes, and getting a feel for the mat and ropes. He said the next question was whether she could complete a full week of training and still want to pursue wrestling. “I’ve thought about that and it scares me, but it also excites me,” he said. Fightful reported his comments on February 18, 2026.
June 2026: a two-week return and plans to go back
Rey later said Aalyah had returned to the Performance Center for two weeks in February and “really loved it.” In June, he said she was getting ready to return and establish herself there. That is a meaningful step beyond a first try, but the reports describe training and preparation; they do not say she had completed a longer program or committed to a WWE career.

Has Aalyah Mysterio signed with WWE?
The cited coverage does not confirm that Aalyah has signed a WWE contract or received an announced debut date. It establishes reported training and Rey’s account of her interest, not a formal hiring or on-screen role.
In August 2026, Dominik Mysterio said he believed his sister was going to WWE and hoped she would join him. Wrestling Inc. reported that remark from The Ariel Helwani Show, but it remains Dominik’s prediction—not confirmation from WWE. Wrestling Inc.’s August 2 report records his view.
