News coverage often calls her Kai Trump. Her convention remarks offered a brief personal account of how she sees her grandfather; in September 2025, an AFP report also covered the launch of an apparel brand bearing her name.
Who is Kai Madison Trump?
Kai Madison Trump is commonly referred to in news coverage as Kai Trump. One of the clearest public introductions to her is her speech on the third night of the 2024 Republican National Convention. The PBS/OETA transcript records her speaking about her family and sharing her perspective on her grandfather.
What did she say at the 2024 Republican National Convention?
In her speech, Trump described her grandfather in familiar, personal terms: “To me, he’s just a normal grandpa.” She said he asks how she and other family members are doing in school, and recounted that he had been proud when she made the high honor roll. Those details are her account in the speech, not independently verified accounts of private events.
She also spoke about their shared interest in golf. Together, the comments presented a family perspective rather than a political biography: she described school conversations, golf and her experience of him as a grandfather.

What is known about her clothing brand?
AFP reported on September 27, 2025, that Trump had launched an apparel brand bearing her name. The report described a plain crewneck sweatshirt with initials on the chest and her signature at the cuff. AFP reported a US$130 launch-era price for the sweatshirt; that figure is not verified as a current price. Barron’s and Investing.com carried AFP reporting on the launch.
The reports establish that the launch was announced, not whether the sweatshirt or other products remain in stock, what current prices or sizes may be, or whether the brand sells through any particular retailer.
