The newspaper called it the neighborhood’s most expensive deal at the time. Published accounts describe a substantial private estate with gardens, a pool, a basketball court and a guest house—but they do not establish who owns or lives in the property today.
What the reported $65 million Brentwood home is like
The Los Angeles Times described the residence as a modern farmhouse. Its reported scale—19,000 square feet on a nearly four-acre hillside lot—sets it apart as a large estate, though published accounts do not provide a room-by-room tour or a complete architectural specification.
The $65 million figure was the reported purchase price in 2021, not a current valuation. Jack Flemming of the Los Angeles Times wrote at the time: “In one of Southern California’s priciest sales so far this year, music mogul Scooter Braun has shelled out $65 million for a massive modern farmhouse in Brentwood.” The newspaper described the transaction as a neighborhood record then; that wording refers to the 2021 sale, not a present-day ranking.
Who designed the residence and grounds?
The Los Angeles Times credited architect Noah Walker with designing the house. Architectural Digest named Jamie Bush for the interiors and Christine London for the landscaping, which it characterized as understated. The available reporting identifies the professionals involved but does not substantiate further claims about particular materials, finishes, views or rooms.

What amenities were reported?
The Los Angeles Times reported a pool, pool house, basketball court and gardens. Architectural Digest also reported a guest house. Together, those features suggest the estate was planned for recreation and hosting, but the articles do not establish additional amenities or how the spaces are used.
How the property became a modern farmhouse
The home was commissioned by its reported previous owner, Larry Paul. According to the Los Angeles Times, Paul paid $11 million for the property in 2015, cleared the existing home and commissioned the new residence. The newspaper reported Braun’s $65 million purchase six years later, in 2021.
