Billie Eilish’s reported mansion in La Cañada Flintridge is described as a nearly 7,000-square-foot, six-bedroom, seven-bathroom modernist home with glass walls, double-height ceilings and a pool. Secondary real-estate reporting says she bought it off-market in spring 2023 for $14 million. Those descriptions are published accounts, not a firsthand tour or confirmation of the home’s current ownership or condition.
What reports say is inside the mansion
A June 2025 real-estate feature describes a house designed around glass, height and views of the surrounding hillside. The reported layout combines everyday gathering rooms with more formal entertaining spaces:
- A family room and a separate formal living room.
- A kitchen with an eat-in banquette, plus a separate formal dining room.
- Six bedrooms, each described as having an ensuite bathroom.
- An upstairs primary suite oriented toward trees and hills.
- A pool with surrounding patio space and a large motor court.
The report characterizes the home as nearly 7,000 square feet, with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and says it sits on an oak-covered hillside spanning nearly four acres. It also describes the property as not visible from the street. These are descriptions attributed to the report; they are not independently verified architectural or property-record findings. North Hillcrest’s 2025 account and a separate Financial Express report overlap on the broad description of the living and dining spaces, kitchen, bedrooms and pool.
Architecture and setting
North Hillcrest attributes the early-1980s design to Buff & Hensman and calls the house an example of 1980s modernism. Its account of glass walls and double-height ceilings suggests a design that emphasizes openness and the landscape, but the architect attribution and architectural characterization should be understood as that outlet’s reporting rather than as independently checked archival documentation.

The setting is described as a wooded hillside in La Cañada Flintridge, not as a public attraction. The house is a private residence; available reporting does not establish its present condition, who occupies it, or whether Eilish still owns it. No street address is needed to understand the reported design, and it is not appropriate to treat the property as a place to visit.
What is known about the reported $14 million purchase
Secondary real-estate reporting says Eilish purchased the La Cañada Flintridge home off-market in spring 2023 for $14 million, reportedly from Donald Glover. The 2025 account attributes the house’s size and room count to tax records, but those records and the deed were not independently examined for this article. The price and transaction details should therefore be read as reported historical claims, not as independently verified public-record findings or an estimate of the property’s value today.

How the mansion differs from her childhood home
The La Cañada Flintridge mansion is distinct from the Highland Park home associated with Eilish’s family and early music-making. Realtor.com reported that her parents bought the Highland Park house for $240,000 in 2001; its account describes a two-bedroom, one-bathroom, 1,208-square-foot home. It also connects the house to the siblings’ early work, including the recording of “Ocean Eyes” in Finneas’s bedroom. Those details are reported by Realtor.com.
That outlet also quoted Eilish discussing the family home in a 2022 V Magazine interview: “My relationship with my home has not changed, just like with my parents and my brother,” she said. “I think it’s a bit jarring for some people who grew up with me or haven’t seen me in a long time. … They come over to see us and see that it’s exactly the same. It’s as if you walked in here and it’s 2003.” The comment refers to the family home, not the La Cañada Flintridge mansion; no reviewed source provides an attributable statement from Eilish about the mansion itself.
What is reported—and what remains uncertain—about her other properties
A Glendale horse property formerly associated with singer Leona Lewis has also been linked to Eilish in real-estate coverage, but the reporting does not establish that she bought it. Realtor.com said the buyer was not identified in the property records it cited and presented a possible Eilish purchase as speculation. A later HomesArchives feature states the purchase as fact, but the reviewed sources do not resolve the discrepancy with an official record. Realtor.com and HomesArchives therefore support describing the connection as reported or speculative, not confirmed.
Likewise, a past report that Eilish still lived in the Highland Park home is time-bound. It does not establish her present residence, how many homes she currently owns, or who currently owns or occupies the La Cañada Flintridge property.
