The often-cited $75 million figure was a pre-auction estimate, not the price paid: in September 2022, a successful bidder paid $37.5 million in a Gibraltar court-supervised sale.
What is Axioma?
Axioma is a custom superyacht built by Dunya Yachts in 2013. The vessel’s current listing identifies Alberto Pinto as its interior designer and Sterling Scott as its exterior designer. It was originally named Red Square before being renamed Axioma.
The vessel listing reports a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and gross tonnage of 1,620. It lists six guest cabins for up to 12 guests, a 13-knot cruising speed, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a stated range of 5,000 nautical miles. These are listing specifications, not independently audited measurements; specifications can vary by measurement convention or change over time. Axioma’s vessel listing
Did the Kardashians own or charter Axioma?
No credible evidence in the available reporting connects a Kardashian family member to owning or chartering Axioma. The association in the headline should therefore be treated as unverified, not as a fact about the yacht. A historical charter listing reported in 2022 does not identify a Kardashian as a client.

Was Axioma really worth $75 million?
ABC News described Axioma as estimated at about $75 million before the auction. ABC News, August 24, 2022
How much did Axioma sell for?
The successful bidder paid $37.5 million into court, according to The Guardian’s September 27, 2022 report. Why was Axioma seized and auctioned?
The Guardian reported that Axioma was associated with Dmitry Pumpyansky and was impounded in Gibraltar in March 2022. The claim involved JP Morgan and a €20.5 million loan to Pyrene Investments, the yacht’s registered owner. According to the report, sanctions against Pumpyansky meant the bank could not accept repayments, and the court-supervised sale was pursued in connection with the debt. The report does not establish that the sale proceeds went to Ukraine.
The August 2022 auction was conducted by Gibraltar’s Admiralty Marshal. Contemporary reporting said it attracted 63 bids. The sale price was subsequently reported as $37.5 million in September. These details describe the legal and financial circumstances reported at the time, not Axioma’s present ownership.

- 🚢 Premium 120CM Superyacht Display Design: Created and authorized by the designer, this impressive 120 cm (47 in) luxury superyacht model is designed as a high-end display piece rather than a traditional building model. The sleek hull lines, balanced proportions, and refined surfaces recreate the appearance of a professional studio yacht model, making it an eye-catching centerpiece for collectors and advanced builders.
- 🧩 Large Modular Construction System: The yacht is engineered with 10 removable structural sections, allowing builders to assemble, access, and transport the model more conveniently. This modular architecture also makes it easier to explore different areas of the model during the build. The removable display stands allow the yacht to be showcased elevated on stands or placed directly on a flat display surface.
- 📘 Structured Instructions for Organized Building: To simplify the building process of such a large and complex model, the project is divided into six organized instruction groups. Each section includes a detailed parts list and professional PDF building instructions, allowing builders to complete the model step by step while keeping parts management clear and efficient.
- ⚙️ Interactive Mechanical Features: Beyond its elegant appearance, the model includes several functional mechanical elements. Builders can operate working tender garage doors, beach club access doors, removable tenders, and rotating propellers with connected drive shafts, all controlled by a knob located in the engine room area. These functional details add a layer of realism while maintaining the yacht’s clean display style.
- 🏝️ Detailed Multi-Deck Interior Layout: Inside the superyacht is a carefully designed multi-deck interior environment that reflects the layout of a real luxury vessel. Spaces include crew cabins, engine room, generator room, beach club area, main salon, formal dining room, guest cabin, owner’s suite with private facilities, bridge control area, and multiple outdoor leisure areas such as seating zones, dining areas, and a bar. Due to its size and structural complexity, this model is best suited for experienced builders seeking an advanced display project.
Was Axioma available for charter?
A 2022 report listed the yacht at $558,500 per week for charter before its sale. That is a historical listing price only; it does not establish a current rate or that the yacht is presently available. Nor does a charter listing provide evidence that any particular celebrity chartered the vessel.
