She was also described as an artist whose work included psychedelic paintings, sculptures, and self-portraits. The Phuket News reported that she monetized her internet presence through OnlyFans after earlier work in the sex industry. These are biographical details about her career, not explanations for the circumstances in Phuket.
The reported final posts
Reports highlighted two pieces of online activity immediately before her death. One was a childhood photograph, and another was a post featuring the closing scene of the 1998 film The Truman Show. An Instagram account was also changed to “MaryMagdaleneDied.”
Those details have prompted speculation, but they should not be called a suicide note or a farewell message. Social-media posts can be ambiguous, and the reviewed reporting does not show that Thai authorities interpreted them as proof of intent. The Phuket News reported the posts while also noting that police had not released further details explaining the fall.
What later-reported footage does—and does not—show
On December 18, Complex reported footage said to have been recorded on November 20, 2025, on Thailand’s Phi Phi islands. The outlet described Gongora as appearing intoxicated or disoriented and being assisted by police and other people.
