Immersive Gamebox’s Netflix partnership turns Floor Is Lava into an in-person multiplayer obstacle-course game. Announced on November 12, 2024, with a planned launch on November 15, the experience has players work together to cross virtual platforms without falling into the lava. The current U.S. listing describes a 30-minute session; check your chosen venue and date for availability and booking details.
What is the Immersive Gamebox Floor Is Lava experience?
It is a location-based game inspired by Netflix’s Floor Is Lava, played inside an Immersive Gamebox venue rather than at home. Players cooperate to navigate virtual obstacle courses, jumping from platform to platform to avoid the lava. The launch announcement says the game uses motion tracking, projection mapping and touch screens.
Immersive Gamebox presented the release as an extension of its multi-title partnership with Netflix. In the November 12, 2024 announcement, CEO Will Dean said: “Our further extension of our multi-title partnership with Netflix brings a beloved show to life in an entirely new way.” Read the launch announcement.
How many people can play Floor Is Lava at Immersive Gamebox?
The launch announcement described groups of two to six players working together. Immersive Gamebox’s booking information says each Gamebox accommodates up to six people; larger parties may be booked into multiple boxes. Confirm the arrangements with the selected venue when booking.

Where can I book the Immersive Gamebox Floor Is Lava game?
Use Immersive Gamebox’s booking flow to select a location and game, then choose the number of players, date and time.
