Giorgina Uzcategui is a businesswoman whom media profiles have associated with renewable energy and with managing parts of Ilia Topuria’s personal brand. Older coverage described her as his partner and later his wife; reports in 2026 describe the couple as separated. The available reporting does not establish their legal status beyond those descriptions.
What is Giorgina Uzcategui’s relationship to Ilia Topuria now?
Coverage changed over time: an AS interview report in 2024 referred to Uzcategui as Topuria’s partner, while a 20 Minutos profile/interview in 2025 described her as his wife. By June 2026, CBS Sports reported that they had separated and described them as former spouses. In July 2026, Antena 3 described Uzcategui’s interview as taking place after the breakup. These reports support calling her Topuria’s former partner, but do not by themselves settle the precise legal status of the relationship.
What does she do professionally?
Business and education
The 2025 20 Minutos profile describes Uzcategui as a businesswoman and CEO of Future & Energy, which it characterizes as a US company working in renewable energy and sustainability. It reports that she studied Business Administration and Management at Miami Dade College and completed postgraduate study at Suffolk University in Boston. These are details reported by the outlet; the sources cited here do not include institutional biographies or company filings independently confirming them.
Work connected with Topuria’s brand
20 Minutos also reports that Uzcategui managed aspects of Topuria’s personal brand, coordinating legal, sports, and communications teams. That is the outlet’s account of her role, rather than independently verified corporate information. In the same interview, she described their working and personal relationship at that time by saying, “Nos organizamos como un equipo. No hay jerarquías en nuestra relación.” The statement reflects the period of that interview, not their reported circumstances in 2026.

CBS Sports reported in June 2026 that Topuria and Uzcategui share two children. In its 2024 interview report, AS identified Uzcategui as the mother of Topuria’s daughter and quoted him calling her birth his happiest moment of that year: “El nacimiento de mi hija sin duda ha sido mi momento más feliz de este año.” Those are the relevant family details in the cited coverage; names, ages, and custody arrangements are not established here.

The public accounts of their dispute are contested, and the cited reports do not establish the truth of the underlying allegations or provide a complete account of private events. Cadena SER reported on December 15, 2025, that Topuria issued a public statement alleging pressure and threats involving accusations of abuse. Antena 3’s July 2026 report covered Uzcategui speaking after the breakup and discussing her honor. Those accounts should be understood as statements attributed to each person, not findings that either has been proven right or wrong. Topuria, as quoted by CBS Sports in its June 2026 coverage, said: “What happened between my ex-wife and me is our business.”
