How did the clip become a meme?
The footage had circulated online before the 2024 resurgence. Know Your Meme reports TikTok circulation as early as 2020, followed by broader meme attention in 2024. The Daily Dot points to an X post dated November 13, 2024, as a prompt for renewed circulation and TikTok versions. These accounts describe an earlier period of recirculation and a later surge; they do not establish how popular the meme is now.
The joke depends on the contrast between a small child’s pronunciation and the formal-sounding word “suitcase,” while the visible case gives the line a straightforward, literal context. The available reporting does not provide a reliable, attributable statistic for the meme’s audience or reach.
