Melissa Gorga’s “good intel” about The Real Housewives of New Jersey was her February 2025 expectation that Bravo was working on the show’s future, would bring in new cast members and might retain familiar faces—not an official casting announcement. Later reporting changed the picture: by August 2026, Gorga and Joe had reportedly reconciled with Teresa Giudice ahead of Season 15 filming.
What Melissa Gorga said about RHONJ in February 2025
During a February 2025 appearance on Sherri, Gorga said she expected news about the series after the New Year and believed Bravo was working on what came next. Collider reproduced her remarks this way: “I feel like they’re working on it. I know they’re definitely going to bring in some new girls. I’m assuming they’re going to keep some familiar faces as well.”
Collider also reported her saying, “We’ll see. I’m hoping that we’ll get some news about ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ sooner than later. We were told we would get news after the New Year, so I do think that they are working on it right now.” The wording reflects Gorga’s impression and expectation at the time. It does not establish that Bravo had confirmed a cast or a production plan. Collider’s February 7, 2025 report reproduces the comments; an official transcript was not available in the cited coverage.
What “good intel” did—and did not—mean
Gorga’s comments pointed to a possible mix of new women and familiar faces, but she did not name who would return. The phrase “good intel” should therefore be read as a description of her outlook, not as a network announcement of Season 15 casting. In that 2025 report, she also did not expect to reconcile with Teresa at that point, while acknowledging that she could not know what the future would bring.

How the story changed before Season 15
The 2025 comments are not the latest account of the family relationship. E! News reported on August 7, 2026 that Melissa and Joe Gorga had reconciled with Teresa ahead of Season 15 filming. Then, in a September 20, 2026 report, Bravo relayed Teresa’s positive assessment of the renewed dynamic and her optimism about the upcoming season.
Those later accounts show that the relationship changed after Gorga’s February 2025 remarks. They do not turn her earlier speculation about the cast into a confirmed lineup. Keep the two points separate: her 2025 comments were expectations about the show’s future; the 2026 coverage described a reconciliation before filming and Teresa’s view of the relationship going into the season.
