A Mashable article syndicated by Yahoo describes Hurdle as a five-round game. According to that account, each solved word becomes the first guess in the next round. In the final hurdle, earlier answers appear with letters marked as correct or misplaced. The report cautions that repeated highlights in previous guesses do not necessarily show how many times a letter appears in the final answer.
