Hulk Hogan’s private funeral service took place on August 5, 2025, at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida. Reports say a hearse later carried a casket to a Clearwater funeral home, but they do not establish where Hogan’s cremated remains are now or whether he was buried. Hogan, born Terry Bollea, died at age 71 on July 24, 2025.
When and where was Hulk Hogan’s funeral?

Was the funeral open to the public?
No. The service was private, and guests needed to be invited. The AP reported that people without invitations were turned away. Church security and Largo police, including K-9 officers, patrolled the event.
Where was Hulk Hogan laid to rest?
The available reports do not establish a burial place or the final location of Hogan’s cremated remains. The AP reported that his body would be cremated. A later Miami Herald report said a hearse carried a casket from the church to Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Clearwater. That reported destination is not proof that Hogan was buried there; a hearse route alone does not establish what happened to the casket or where cremated remains were placed.

Who attended the service?
WUSF’s publication of AP reporting named professional wrestler Ric Flair, WWE executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque, musician Kid Rock, former basketball player Dennis Rodman, and MMA figure Tito Ortiz among guests sighted. The Miami Herald reported that Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, ex-wife Linda Hogan, and son Nick were present. These are reported sightings, not a complete official guest list.
Us Weekly reported that the service lasted about 90 minutes and estimated attendance at 800 to 1,000; it also said Nick Hogan, Vince McMahon, and Levesque spoke. Those duration, attendance, and speaker details are attributed to that outlet, rather than an official service record. Us Weekly’s report
